Peran Pendidikan Akhlak dalam Mewujudkan Sikap Terpuji di Pondok Pesantren SMP Sabilurrosyad

Educationin moral character is an urgent need for all groups, especially giventhe widespread moral decline in society today. This has prompted variousinstitutions, including Islamic boarding schools, to aggressively implement educationin moral character. This study aims to describe and analyze in depth the role of moral education in realizing commendable attitudes (fairness, contentment,good deeds, unity, and harmony) among students at the Sabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding SchoolSabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative approach with acase study type at the Sabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding School. The research subjects arecaregivers, moral teachers, and students. Data was collected throughparticipatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showthat moral education has a central and effective role in shapingthe character of students. This role is realized through the instillation of core valuesand daily habits that are significant in shaping attitudes of fairness, acceptance,good deeds, unity, and harmony in the boarding school environment. The implementation ofstructured and consistent moral education at the Sabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding SchoolSabilurrosyad has proven successful in creating a harmonious, supportive,and religious atmosphere, as well as increasing positive social interaction among students,which ultimately becomes a prototype for the realization of a society with noble morals.
