This is not unrelated to the unusual environment they encounter every day; if they are accustomed to associating with friends and a negative environment, the character that emerges will also be negative. especially in this highly advanced era, where numerous negative influences may easily affect students, whether through social interactions or access to harmful websites via gadgets. This is concerning because they are the future leaders of the nation, who should possess character traits aligned with religious teachings and the Pancasila principles, not those who indulge in alcohol or engage in immoral behavior. This study aims to investigate character development through religious activities at MTs Hasyim Asy’ari Bojong. The research employs a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Salah satu aspek yang mendorong terjadinya perubahan dalam pengelolaan pendidikan adalah pengembangan kurikulum. Sebagai wujud implementasi dari kurikulum merdeka yang dicanangkan oleh Kemendikbudristek Hadits Arba’in sengaja dipilih karena relevan dengan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di pendidikan madrasah. Kebijakan tersebut diresmikan pada tanggal 27 Juli 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis lapangan dan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif tentang respon guru MTs terhadap kebijakan Kemenag Kabupaten Tegal tentang hafalan kitab Arba’in Nawawi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs Jatibogor Suradadi. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh tentang respon guru terhadap kebijakan hafalan kitab Arba’in Nawawi di MTs Jatibogor suraradi adalah semua guru merespon dengan sangat baik, dikarenakan di dalam kitab tersebut memuat beberapa nilai-nilai keagamaan yang bisa diaplikasikan oleh peserta didik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Therefore, Integrated Islamic Schools that innovate in this area will have a very positive impact on children's interest in enrolling in Integrated Islamic Schools. The method used in this study is a descriptive grand theory. Data collection tools include observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The research findings indicate that the innovation in Islamic education at SMP IT Al-Azhar is excellent, and the innovation is running smoothly with the support of the community. Scheduled activities serve as a form of support for the innovation that has been initiated. This study aims to improve teacher quality in teaching to enhance the school's accreditation status at MTs Jatibogor Suradadi. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive techniques. The instruments used to collect and analyze data include observation, documentation, and interviews. The data obtained were classified and verified, resulting in the collection of the desired data.</em><em> After collecting data through several instruments, researchers conducted triangulation to ensure that the data obtained was accurate and valid. The results of this study indicate that efforts to improve the quality of teaching to enhance school accreditation status are carried out through the creativity and innovation of educational stakeholders, including school principals, teachers, and administrative staff, good cooperation among community members in the school environment, and the unity and discipline of teachers in performing their duties. Additionally, these efforts are implemented through madrasah programs in collaboration with the Ministry of Religion and local government authorities. The Merdeka Curriculum serves as an alternative to address learning setbacks during the pandemic, offering the freedom of “Merdeka Belajar” (Independent Learning) to educators—teachers and school principals—in designing, implementing the learning process, and developing the curriculum at schools. In the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, there are numerous readiness components for teachers and schools to be considered prepared to implement the Merdeka Curriculum. This study was conducted to provide teachers' responses to the preparation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method, which describes the subject's situation and data obtained during observations and questions, thereby providing useful and easily understandable information for readers. The results of this study indicate that the responses of teachers and madrasah principals toward the preparation for the Merdeka Curriculum are very positive and even supportive of its implementation. In this effort, education can shape the character of discipline, one of which is through the reward and punishment method, as applied in the Al-Amin Bulakwaru Tarub Islamic boarding school, which is able to implement reward and punishment in the discipline of its students. The purpose of this observation is to understand reward and punishment in shaping the character of student discipline. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The researcher collected data through interviews, documentation, and observation to describe it. The results of this study indicate that in the context of students or boarding school students at the secondary education level, religious activities in the form of istigasah and regular dhuha prayers are a learning method that supports the development of school culture at SMP Takhasus Alquran Bulakwaru Tegal.
